Perhaps the two biggest trends facing the world’s most economically powerful countries are aging populations and the emergence of artificial technology. It is rare to interview an expert that can speak credibly on both topics, and their potential overlap, in the same episode but we found one!
Tina Woods is the CEO and Founder of Collider Health, an organization that works with public and private sectors to drive sustainable and innovative transformations in human health. Amongst other roles, Tina is also the Health and Longevity Champion for the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing, aiming to accelerate ageing intelligence and secure UK Research I’s strategic aims to ensure better health, ageing and wellbeing in the UK and globally.
She is also Co-Founder and CEO of Business for Health, a business-led coalition of socially responsible employers, purchasers, investors and innovators that is developing a Business Framework for Health, bringing in ‘Health’ into ‘ESG’ mandates to support long-term sustainable innovation and investment in preventative health and care.
An academic and business professional, she began studying genetics, before deeply embedding herself in AI and data. She has worked on in depth research that examines healthy ageing and longevity.
Her book, Live Longer with AI, features interviews with experts and entrepreneurs from across the aging and AI fields, with systemic change as a theme for achieving the goal of longer lives for everyone.
She is deeply passionate about reducing systemic inequalities that impact our daily lives and discusses the importance publicly sharing data with the intent to provide a better standard in ageing research.
